Valentines Day Run Seattle

Need help with my banal story!?

So I decided to write a story about Valentine's Day and I think it very cliché. gothic girl lives Seattle, 1984 is the Valentine's Day and rain. She is very anti-romantic on this day, even if she is pretty (She knows) Surfer Dude (who just moved from California) and ask what point does it that day, it is hostile, but agrees to go relunctaly a date with him. Yadahh, who like the same books, music, movies ... A young girl tells gothic girl half just to go out with her for a bet (or she incorrectly accused of cheating) Girl gets angry, run, Guy catches her and kisses her. The end. So I think it's a cliché little, what should I change?

I do not think the plot or the characters are cliche, but the conflict. Most books that the novel boyfriend falsely accused by the jealous mean girl "of conflict. In In fact, we probably still a good book, but the conflict is a bit exaggerated. You do not have to that, just an idea: try to go through a deep rooted problem. Unlike the Goth girl discovers her ex, kissing or any something like that. Maybe she realizes that he is involved with someone or something she has vowed that he hates more than anything. Saying crosses this line, it discovers and is furious. But do not do something in common. Do something for the conflict that has changed dramatically life of the child for the worst and it does not support that he has broken trust with him. The resolution should also be a bit stronger than it embraces everything, too. In real life, not resolved. Give him time, and yes, you can make a kiss, because that always tends to be the best part of a book me anyway, but the boy trying to correct their mistakes and gradually gain their trust again. If you think you have quite a good or a conspiracy conflict or a new twist to get into the story, really recommend listening to the music:) always helps me, and if the letter is good enough, I finally found another way to go in my book. I hope this helped! Good luck!
