Proposal at Rockefeller Center?

I am planning on Proposing to my girlfriend at Rockefeller Center on Ice during Valentine's Day. Here's my dilemma (and it's sad that this is even crossing my mind)...we are a same sex couple, both female. We live in MA where same sex marriage is legal, but we are going on a weekend getaway to NYC, her favorite spot in the world. Here is my problem....I'm not sure if there has ever been a same-sex proposal done on ice at Rockefeller Center and I'd hate for my romantic proposal to be ruined by some hecklers in the crowd. Do you think the people in NYC would have a problem with this? I'm just nervous someone is going to ruin it for me. Thanks in advance.

The truth is, you can never be sure when some jerk is going to ruin a moment like this (even in Massachusetts.) There are tons of out of towners in Rockefeller Center, and...well...you never know.

If you really want to be sure to have the perfect romantic moment, you might try something like a carriage ride through Central Park. You will be able to propose in a most romantic manner, and no one can ruin your moment for you.

I hope I'm not being too negative. I just would hate for someone to ruin something that should be so special you will remember it for the rest of your lives!
