Choose a giant fortune cookie gift for Valentine surprises! If your loved ones are used to receiving a box of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers from you on Valentine's Day, why not stir things up a bit? What do people love even more than receiving gifts? Receiving "surprise" gifts!
Nothing seems to delight the human spirit more than a pleasant surprise. It makes people smile and laugh. A surprise is an automatic mood brightener. And if you are the person giving the "surprise" gift, you get the added enjoyment of watching other people's responses.

They make great funny and playful gifts for early in a relationship (or for later in the relationship when only something unexpected will do). They make great Valentine's gifts for kids, who are always delighted with anything that comes in a "giant" size. And they make wonderful gifts of appreciation for employees or bosses. People of all ages, creeds, genders and political beliefs are always delighted to receive their giant fortune cookie.
You can choose traditional Valentine's colors (red, pink, or white), or take the element of surprise one step further. Order your custom cookie with purple sprinkles or yellow smiley faces. Choose the recipient's favorite colors and favorite chocolate: White chocolate with blue sprinkles? Dark chocolate with green sprinkles? As long as you give your gift on February 14th, it officially counts as a gift for Valentine's Day.
And don't forget that you also have the opportunity to compose your own custom message. You can make that surprising too. If you're not a poet yourself, let other poets speak for you. Do a search online for "public domain poetry" and find one that expresses how you feel. Choose lyrics from a favorite song, or quote a famous person from history. Make your message heartfelt, funny or inspirational. Or, in keeping with the fortune cookie theme, make it a message of good fortune.
Funny good luck / get well quotes needed!?
My boyfriend is going through a rough time, was was really sick, then was stuck for a week and a half without power in Kentucky and now has sprained his ankle. Part of what I am giving him for valentine's day is home-made fortune cookies to try to send a little good luck his way. He's really into comedy and I am trying to find some REALLY funny quotes about injury prevention and how he's due for some good luck now. ANY help is greatly appreciated, as I need to mail these on Wednesday morning. Thank you so much!
