Cards Valentine's Day is one of the great hopes and attractions of this special day. These cards feature a wide range of emotions - Traditional capricious funny, charming, ornate, romantic, sensitive, and much more. Cards for Valentine's Day are always sent or given to any person considered as a lover or a romantically inclined boyfriend or girlfriend.
Tradition cards Valentine's Day dates back to medieval times. Some say it began with Charles Duke of Orleans in 1415. He sent a poem to his beloved wife, while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London after the Battle of Agincourt. This greeting card in particular is a special memory and part of the collection of manuscripts that can be seen at the British Library.
But Valentine has nothing to do with Valentine's Day? And that was in any way? We think it was probably a legend, but in reality, there are three saints who are named Valentine or Valentinus, each associated with February 14th. One was a priest, another bishop, but the three said they were martyred. One of the most popular legend states that just before his beheading for refused to deny Christ, Valentine wrote a letter to his beloved, he signed "From your Valentine."
