ideas for sweeping a girl off her feet?
Last april, I met a girl on a busride (i go to UT) backfrom downtown. I was talking to her friend while the girl was with another friend who was throwing up. Cops saw the four of us. I saved myself and one friend from a ticket but couldn't save the girl and other her friend. I pursued the girl afterwards but found out she had a boyfriend up in michigan.
I asked her out when i saw she was single and went on a date on valentine's day and we hit it off. We hung out a lot and had a lot of movie nights. It went well for a month. Then she gave me a concussion on accident (just funny, i wasn't mad). After that it went bad. She told me she wanted to make sure i knew she wasn't looking for anything serious.
Over two weeks I screwed up and put up a wall. I ended us 'dating' although we still hung out and made out. Now she says she's dating someone else. She says the romance wasnt there. She still likes me some but I have competition. Any ideas to sweep her off her feet?
It seems like she said she wanted you to know she wasn't looking for anything serious at that time because she had recently ended a relationship. She may have wanted to play that card to keep herself from being hurt, but it could have either meant just that she didn't want something serious, or that she didn't want anything serious right then.
Basically, I think that you just have to show her that you can give her some space, if that's what she still wants, and something a little serious at the same time. No one wants to be hurt. Do something that shows you paid attention when you two were dating....did she mention something she'd always like to do or always wanted to go? Just show that you listen and that you care, and then what's going to happen will happen.
That's what would sweep me off my feet anyway.
