Valentines Day History Facts

Substantially, the days of love letters and valentine cards has long past the gig. What could have replaced those things is simply powered by electronics and special algorithms that decoded from two numbers – 0 and 1. Yes these two numbers represent two choices: a yes or a no. Love is in the air and in if you wanted to stay right up to that atmosphere where cupid flies and mischievously arching every lovers on the corner, then you must learn that today there are so many ways to find love.
David is a paramedic of certain hospital in New York and his job makes him busy as a bee. In a month, it is great relief if he could have an hour in a bar which occasionally he would exchange for a good rest at his very cozy apartment. He has the money. A good body as he should be fit for his work. Not to doubt, David is a good looking man and you would probably not believe that at his age of 26, he is still single. According to him, he is not afraid of marriage or the responsibility of becoming a father. The only thing that kept him from not marrying or starting a family was the fact that he only spends time at home at least 4 hours a day.
At some point in his life, David lost faith in Cupid and its stupid bow and arrows. Not until he purchased his own personal computer and have it connected to the internet. At first, it was never in his imagination that he would be using the same gadget he bought as a Christmas gift for dating or looking for his soul mate. He bought it to make himself busy during a day he is not at work to watch YouTube videos or hopping over one friend’s blog after another. One day he felt Cupid struck him and he found an interesting online dating site. That day on, he contacted 50 single lovely ladies and dated 10 of them. Today, he is happily living with Jessica, one of the fifty he contacted and the most perfect girl from the 10 that suited his interest.
Online dating has become a fad for the past few years. Online dating sites have improved since it was introduced some years ago. Other social networking sites also discreetly and indirectly promotes online dating and in the comfort of your computer, you can find the dream girl or boy you ever wished for. But every story like that one David has had other sides. Not all ends happily ever after. Too often, couples break after sometime due to piled up issues that was never anticipated during the dating process. Why? Virtual world remains a virtual.
There was one case that happened where a woman was raped and killed by the man he dated online. After some time the two dated out, the woman never made any background check or even asks some common friends about the man he is dating. During the investigation of the crime, police opened piles of criminal files linking to the man she had dated. It turns out that the man was a convict and had some few other criminal records in other states.
Had she made a background check on the man he met online before agreeing to see and date personally, the grim incident could have avoided. Today, what is left to us is the chance to check the history of people we came to know over the net. Online dating is not bad but it is still better to check one’s background to ensure that who you find to be your lifetime partner will surely let you live happily ever after.
I've been with my bf 5yrs(engaged 1 yr) and always had doubts but keep thinking its just me.here are the facts
His good traits
1.loving/devoted dad(his child from 1st marrage)
2.supporting exhusband(takes "the high road" with his ex for his son's sake)
3.no drugs/drinking
4.hard worker/good job
5.smart/clean cut
Ok sounds good right? now for the 'bad traits"
1.history of cheating(left wife for old gf then left old gf for me)
2.temper(never hit me but can sware and yell alot)
3.has crazy/controlling exwife
4.money issues(asked me to pay off his debt once 25k and did the if you love me you would do it)
5.has to be reminded of my b-day/Valentines Day(we went "dutch" on both these days)
6.In the 5 yrs i got flowers once.
Bad traits #1, #2, and #4 are serious problem, you're right to have your doubts. #3, #5, and #6 don't bode well for a future with him either. He's a problem. RUN! Don't marry this man.
