Ever wonder why we give flowers as a gift? Or why flowers symbolize things various different? Well, the act of giving flowers dates back to prehistoric times and evidence of flowers with a symbolic meaning may be found in Egyptian inscriptions and written Chinese and the Greek and Roman mythology.
