Lamp centerpieces how-to?
I'm having a valentine's day wedding & want it to be very romantic. I don't want flower centerpieces & I can't have candles because the venue won't allow them. I don't really like battery operated candles, so I had the idea of using lamps as the centerpieces. Lamps obviously have cords so that wouldn't work. But I've seen vases make into lamps using candles some how. I figured I could use battery operated candles for that seeing as nobody would see the actual candle. But I have no idea how to make these. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
You could try wrapping battery operated lights (like christmas lights) inside the vase, hiding the batter box in the middle with some other sort of decoration. Otherwise if you wanted to use battery operated candles, but not have them show because you dont like how they look, have them in some sort of red see through box or something, so the light just shines through and you can't tell they are fake.
