I AM THE PUMPKIN KING
"The Nightmare Before Christmas" might be the best family film the whole creation, which is the adventures of Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. It's boring to do the same every year for Halloween and one day in the woods comes upon a door that leads to Christmas Town. There are so shocked and dazzled by the idea of Christmas as it is the resident bats, ghouls and goblins of Halloween Town to help make your own Christmas instead of Halloween, but alas, boil and boil and problems fatigue occur.
What's this?
"The Nightmare Before Christmas" was the first stop Motion length animated film ever produced. To give you an idea of the reason may be - Santa Claus was more than 50 different moving parts, Sally interchangeable with 10 different faces, each with 11 different expressions, and Jack had more than 400 head each hand separately interchangeable with different facial expression. If this were not enough, at the height of production, the hosts took an entire week to produce only 70 seconds of film. Ouch.
Boo-nus: In a tribute to the comics and cartoon Charlie Brown faces showed no adult in the film.
BEHEMOTH
Behemoth The character is based on the B-movie actor and Swedish wrestler Tor Johnson. Tor Johnson has worked with Ed Wood Jr., and was represented in the movie "Ed Wood" which was directed by Tim Burton.
COMMITMENT
Most people naturally assume that directed by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas ", but he was the director Henry Selick, who took the helm, while Burton wrote and produced massive commitment. Selick then direct the film Stop-motion animation, "James and the Giant Peach." His next film, "Coraline" has been written by fear, master Neil Gaiman.
This Is Halloween
In the song, "This is Halloween" the Lumplings lyrics.tender returns throughout the song called "Tender Lumplings" which was composed by Danny Elfman when he was with his band Oingo Boingo.
IT'S SHOWTIME
Jack Skellington makes a brief appearance in the top of Beetlejuice on the carousel hat and dress of the film, "Beetlejuice". The snake in the same film is also seen in Beetlejuice Sandworm Saturn.
Boo-nus: To create Halloween Town is clearly folded appearance, the artists often sketched their projects to their lack of drawing by hand.
SEASON CRUNCH
Tim Burton said he was inspired writing the poem's original film is based on when he saw a Halloween display merchandise is removed and replaced by a Christmas decoration. The juxtaposition dark skeletons, ghouls and goblins mixed with Father Christmas merry and bright with his reindeer tempted his imagination and put the wheels in motion.
Stop Motion Commotion

Laborious as it is, it is not surprising that things may soon occur. The continuity between shots is always a nuisance to any film and this is no different. A very different can be seen when Jack shows Lock, Stock and Barrel Christmas tree cookie. Besides the first Frost the cookie is in front of them, but one taken after the hand is reversed and the meringue is in front of them. Yeesh, oh the humanity.
Jack Of All Trades
Actor Chris Sarandon provided the speaking voice of Jack Skellington, but Danny Elfman, composer of film and longtime collaborator with Tim Burton, singing voice provided by Jack. Elfman has also given voice to the character, the gun and the Clown with the Tearaway Face.
Boo-nus: In the movie, naughty or nice, Santa Claus' list consists of two thin layers of paper with a thin layer of aluminum foil placed between them. This kept a list of paper moving between shots. After all, took 24 pictures (images) for a single second

COLLABORATION THE NATION
Catherine O'Hara, who was also in Beetlejuice "Burton" has struck the jack girlfriend, Sally, and by nature shock. Paul Reubens, aka Pee-Wee Herman, has lent his voice for the character of the blockade. Tim Burton directs both Pee-Wee Herman movies on the big screen.
TidBITS
When the film was first released, they had a marketing campaign with Burger King. Together, the Pumpkin King Burger King and opted for a collection of digital watches in honor of the film. I still have mine in its original box. I bought it at Burger King in front of theater where I first saw the film in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was opening weekend and there are two celebrities the theater at night. Actress Samantha Mathis and her then boyfriend, River Phoenix. It was great to see that they liked the movie as everyone night. Unfortunately for all, River Phoenix died several days later in Los Angeles of a drug induced heart failure. Halloween this year marks the 10th anniversary of its
arrives. RIP River Phoenix.
