Valentine Day Recipes For Kids

What's more fun than making delicious cookies? Eating, I guess. Here are some recipes from my collection of vintage recipes for cookies sugar simple and delicious. They are perfect for holidays, birthdays, rainy days, or spend time cooking with children, family friends. So get baking and make complete cookie dough delicious. Imagine the smell in the kitchen ... oh, yummy!

NINA'S Sugar Cookies

1 cup margarine
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine margarine, oil, sugar and eggs together in large bowl. Sift flour, cream of tartar and baking soda together. Add to egg mixture and mix well. Stir in vanilla. This dough is very sticky. They are divided into 3 equal parts and make rolls. Put in the freezer and let freeze. Remove from freezer and cut into slices 1/4-inch thick. Sprinkle with colored sugar if desired. Bake on baking sheet greased non 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

CREAM SOUR Biscuits

1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon soda
5 1 / 2 to 6 cups flour
4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream shortening. Add sugar and continue creaming until light. Add eggs and cream and mix. Sift dry ingredients and add the butter, sugar, cream and egg mixture. Put the dough into balls the size of a walnut and roll in granulated sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of a glass. Bake at 350 degrees 10 to 15 minutes.

NOTE: For the holidays, use tiny drops of liquid food coloring and sugar before rolling the dough balls in the same. Red and green is perfect for Christmas, orange for Halloween, orange and brown for Thanksgiving, Easter cakes, red for Valentine's Day, etc.

Nothing too extravagent I'm just a kid (16) But I love to cook and I know that will suprise my boyfriend of 2 years and he will love it but he likes just about everything so any suggestions and full recipes would be great!!!
