Valentine Day Napkins

When choosing to propose on Valentine's Day you can end up with the event going one of two ways. While many women will love it, others will find it horribly cliche. However, with a good plan, a beautiful ring, and the best of intentions the woman you love will be sure to have your attention and accept your offer. While no one can pop the big question for you, it's possible to gain the advice you need to help you through this potentially trying event.
Romance is the Key
No matter how you choose to accomplish the goal of proposing you want to make sure it is done with pure romance at hand. This is the moment that many women wait their entire lives for. With that in mind it's important that you offer your lover their ultimate idea of romance the evening you pop the question.
This can be done by asking her what her dream wedding/proposal would be like. If you ask at the right time it is likely that she will not assume anything by your question. Having this information will allow you to create the perfect environment for your question and the subsequent answer.
Public vs. Private
Much thought needs to be given to whether you will propose in public or in private. The dynamics of a public proposal can be incredibly romantic, but can cause a man to be much more nervous than necessary. First remember that you love your partner and that she loves you to. If you weren't in love you wouldn't be doing this in the first place. This should make it slightly easier on you.
Next, if you are going to do it in public it will likely be a very different experience, though still one you should consider. A person in private may have a more intimate setting, whereas in public you may be surrounded in a crowded restaurant. There is no right or wrong answer here. You should merely attempt to choose the situation that you and your lover will be more comfortable being in.
The Ring
Choosing the right ring is going to be the biggest step you make before you propose. Do yourself a favor and learn about the different types of diamonds. Research what the 5 C's are and what they mean when choosing a diamond ring. Once you know you will be able to better understand pricing and size issues a little bit better than you may have before.
Now you need to consider her when you narrow the field of rings down. Consider all of the following things before choosing the perfect ring for her.
Would she want?
Yellow Gold or White Gold
Gold or Platinum
A Solitaire or a Cluster Diamond
A Single Band or a Wedding Band Set
A Traditional Shape (Round, Square, Princess) or a unique shape (Heart, Pear)
You will only buy her one engagement ring her entire life so make sure you truly consider her wants to buy her the one of her dreams.
Suggestive Proposals
The following are a few good ideas that can be used when popping the question.
Hide the ring (Place the ring under her napkin, in the champagne glass, slip it inside the bill, or wrap it up with her other Valentine's Day gifts and let her discover it)
Have a scavenger hunt (Make clues to let your lover find a few gifts, including her ring)
Place it on your pillow for when she wakes
Hand deliver flowers with the ring taped to the card
These are just a few of the unique and secretive ideas that you can use on your special day.
Ways to Celebrate
Once she has said yes, it will be time to celebrate. Show her how much you love her. If you're out in public you might opt for some close dancing and some quiet words to yourself. However, if you are home alone you might opt for something more intimate. No matter what you choose your night will certainly be one of the best of your life and in the memories that you share with your future wife.
Ideas Wanted for a Luxury Style Birthday Dinner Party Theme!?
I previously listed a question about ideas 4 my mum's bday dinner party (only about 25 ppl). my mums birthday is Feb 14th so we always do a Valentines Day theme but this time we want to do something different for her. below is a theme someone suggested to me. any ideas of what i can add to it? my budget is $30 and im lookign for ideas in terms of decorations, centre pieces and something i can give each guest 2 wear on the night & keep as a memory. i need sumthing 4 the men&women.thanks! (ps.low key!)
If so far you did romantic dinner for her birthday, no matter the Valentine's day this year is out of the question. Why don't you do a luxury style dinner party for her. With gold and shimmers and crystals. Add lilies for flower deco, golden napkin rings( you can always use fine ribbons or paper crowns). Add white candles with gold ribbons as well. For the gift you can get faux crystal charms for their keys or as jewelery.King and Queen stuff. Make her feel like a Queen!
