My Bloody Valentine 3D

This horror-remake 3D surprised fans and critics turn to be one of the best movies and most surprisingly funny of terror in recent memory. Director Sam Raimi returned to horror / comedy roots (see Evil Dead) to lead this fun, frolicking on a horrible girl who is cursed to hell. It is the scariest horror movie year, but he was one of the funniest and it was wonderful to see Raimi's return to his roots after the Spiderman films.

Paranormal Activity

The surprise hit of the year, this little low budget film that was launched nationally after the system monumental online petition has become one of the most talked about films of the year. Another entry in the horror genre Shakey-CAM, "Paranormal Activity" did a good job trying to show a house and disturbing and convincing. It was a truly terrifying film that I snuggle into my bed bunk in fear.

Dead Snow

Dead Snow is about Nazi zombies in Sweden. That's right, Nazi Zombies. This film was one Dark Horse candidates for best horror film about the day that the plan was revealed. Taking the matter more seriously there appears and is a great addition to any collection of zombie fans. "
