Valentine Day Math Games

If we were best friends, will he want to date me?
i used to be best friends with this guy, when we were like babies up until like 2nd grade. and each Valentines Day our families would have dinner together at my house or his house. now i kinda like him.
i think he mite like me b/c
1. he still calls me my childhood nickname 'steffy'
2. he always brings up the fact that we were besties as babies + he has a pic of us in the sandbox when we were five.
3. in my math puzzles and games class he left the game he was gonna play to come play with me and my bestie claiming "he hates how hella competitive they are"
4. he asked me to dance a couple times at the school dance
AND 5. he asked me why i didnt come to the valentines day dinner last year, truth is i was out w/ my BF at the time hu im no longer with. He sed that it was "a lot quieter w/o me there, and kinda boring"
so does he like me and should i risk asking him out or should a i just:
A: wait until he asks me out and say yes
B: just stay friends if he doesnt ask me out?
Well, from what you described, it sounds like he may like you.
If you feel comfortable talking to him about it, I would. Tell him that you like him.
If you don't feel comfortable, then just wait for him to ask you out.
