Valentine Day Husbands

The true origin of Valentine's Day always be affected, but most historians seem to agree on the essentials. San Valentin as know, was a Catholic priest in Rome during the reign of Emperor Claudius II. Claudio, who was known in his day as "Claudius the Cruel" had decreed that men are no longer allowed to marry. Claudio had a belief that single men made better soldiers without families.
Valentine found that law is absurd and contrary to law, couples who marry in secret. It was quickly discovered by Claudius II, St. Valentine was imprisoned convicted and beheaded. He said that in his days in prison, Valentine wrote a letter to his daughter that prison guards had been visiting him during his incarceration. He signed the letter, "From your Valentine." This is now considered the first valentine. Valentine's Day said he died February 14th and that is why we celebrate this day.
Others say it was in all faiths in the Roman period that birds choose their companions February 14. Cards Valentine's Day, as we know them today, is said to have existed since Victorian times. The origin, they were handmade and decorated with drawings of hearts, flowers, birds and thousands of lace.
