competition in preschool?
Do you think parents are competitive with your preschooler? During show and tell, there are parents who send their children aged 7 or 8 things in order for the Feast of Saint Valentine, some parents have spent heavily in the purchase gift bags for children to give. If this is what is in preschool, I'm afraid of what will be like in the classroom later!
I have a preschooler and the rule of show and tell it - a point - we do not have the time to show and count 7 or 8 things and children can not wait to sit and hear someone speak of many things. Yes, we have many gifts for parties but - It is always optional and there is still some families who choose not to take anything. We do not do much outside of what someone brings - Just to say thank you and the child is absent. Mean, we say - wow that was the best we have today - never something like that. Just what has been filed in the state, which has made and we all say thank you or a sign. We also send flags House time of grace and clubs at this time of year when the child is supposed to do with your family. I have only one parent actually makes the project for his son. It is obvious that the child had nothing to do with it - a little sad. But only one parent if there is nobody else to compete with it the rest of letting their children experience. I guess I'm lucky if you face competition at such a young age with his son. Do not believe it - Let your child choose what he / she wants to and leave it.
