Valentine Day Editorials

Valentine's Party Day is a very old indeed. Is the name of St. Valentine, a saint of the Age, Middle Yet, ironically, the love is celebrated Valentine's Day, probably never. However, during Valentine's Day in 1800, had all sorts of stories about the origins of this special day. It is believed that the festival dates back to the Feast of Lupercalia, a Roman festival. However, modern historians say this is simply not true.
It seems that Valentine's Day is celebrated before the 1800s. According to one source, Samuel Pepys, a writer in London, on Valentine's Day was celebrated in 1600 already. They even gave gifts as we do today.
However, Valentine cards, we are so fond of today is not really become popular until 1700 when people began to send romantic notes for the day (although it uses plain paper and buy a special card for the occasion).
It was not until the Valentine's Day in 1800 that special cards started dating. In the 1820s some had become very popular in Great Britain and the United States. It was very Common cards printed with hearts and bows and arrows and the same thing at the moment.
However, the actual start date for Valentine's Day the United States for the years 1800 and start with a woman named Esther Howland. Howland, a student at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and began to make cards for the game after receiving the one made in England. His father owned a store at a standstill and it was therefore able to sell through it. Soon, the company has grown into an empire and Esther has been recruiting friends to help the company making downtown Worcester, Massachusetts Industry Day Valentine's Day in the United States.
Esther has been so successful that by the mid 1850s, everybody would send a card on Valentine's Day others, and editors of The New York Times had enough of that. I am the editor of my school newspaper and I have my own editorial column, "The World According to Jenn." I came up with an idea for my next article for the issue of January / February.
