Valentine Day Baking

Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday is celebrated through the year 900, as days of penance, a time for repentance and self-examination. You see cards of Valentine's Day is represented in stores even before the Christmas and New Year it's over! But before Valentine's Day, two days are very important, Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. Most People easily recognize that Mardi Gras Mardi Gras when you can enjoy a real pile of pancakes mixed with powdered sugar and lemon juice! But we know the history of these two days? Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday took place way back in the year 900, when the days of penitence, a time for repentance and self-examination. And now the 21st century, it is time to save our environment by recycling materials and composting of kitchen waste and garden with chicken and eggs, and stop using plastic bags.

The ashes represent remorse, repentance and mourning. The forty days of Lent reminds Christians forty days Jesus withdrew into the desert and fasted for forty days. The faithful believe that if you follow the Lent of forty or fifty days, who join him in his retirement. Some believe that the forty days represent the number of days they spent the Israelites in the desert and also consider ashes as a symbol of mourning, remorse and repentance.
Whatever the theory, we believe that if we had a break to review and correct things that we in the midst of all the holidays, whether Christmas, Easter, Id or Diwali.
