With Valentine's day hurtling towards us like a great big pink fluffy heart-shaped romantic behemoth, thoughts are turning to ideal gifts and activities to help make sure you're still spoken for on the 15th. Like any annual event, it can be tricky getting things just right, so here are some pointers on making sure Cupid's arrows hit every time. First thing is, think ahead! Plan as early as you can to ensure that your Valentine's day celebrations go without a hitch (unless you plan on *getting* hitched!). If you have a special gift in mind, order it as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. If you are planning a special evening out, or a special activity, book your places as early as you can. When thinking about the ideal Valentine's Day gifts, there are various ways to go. You could go the traditional route of chocolates, flowers, jewels, clothes or suchlike, or you could go further afield. Thinking of a gift that is personally suited to your other half will make it much more special. If they have a particular hobby or interest, then a special gift themed around these would be perfect. You could even buy some offbeat gifts such as collectibles, toys and gadgets that they would never expect, guaranteeing a surprise! How about Valentine's activities? There needs to be more than just a gift and card! Think about things you have always wanted to do together, go to a play, a particular part of the country, a particular restaurant. For the more adventurous amongst you, how about skydiving, scuba diving, horse-riding, abseiling, drag racing or a bungee jump? The possibilities really are endless. Just keep in mind that your activities need to be something that you can both enjoy and both appreciate. Above all, spend some quality time with your loved one on Valentine's day. Be together and make sure they know how much you appreciate them as well as the difference they have made to your life. The day should be a celebration of your time as a couple, and a time to reflect on times past as well as what the future may bring. It is an ideal time to think of proposing, or to talk about starting a family. If you are already married or you already have kids, it is a perfect time to reinforce the meaning of the relationship that has changed your life. Spend time together and let them know how much you love them, and you stand a good chance of finding that happy ending after all.
activities childcare Valentine?
I look after 2 children on Valentine's Day for 4 hours. are 11 and 7. What type activities should be done? I do not know what to do because the color is probably too childish for them and generally watch DVDs, but I think we must do something for Valentine's Day to make them happy .. The problem is that their parents can not cook cuz I do not want us messing around in kitchen .. also not can I think of all the activities that are appropriate for 7 and 11 years .. im also worried that if one of them is more in a trash / treasure that you research and hamper the fight.
drawing, coloring, puzzles, puzzles, candy, movies, games (of society, card games or video games), maybe a search of junk food too lol
