Free Funny Valentine Day Poems

Posted in Valentines Day | No Comments »

I recently faced the difficult task of finding a gift to give to a dear family friend who had a profound impact on the life of my daughter, almost a dozen years. Somehow, a gift certificate from Barnes & Noble, a day spa, or a bouquet of flowers do not accurately reflect the deep sense of gratitude, gratitude and love I have for that person. What a gift giver harassed when nothing seems to express your feelings?

Give the gift of words.

I am on the Executive Board and serve as editor of the organization's newsletter women's business so I did what any fan of the word. Writing something in the newsletter. I wrote an article dedicated my friend, a local daycare, thanking him for an incredible value, education and education was added to the life of my son. (Read By: Wild Women Entrepreneurs Newsletter [# http://www.thewildwe.com/Newsletter.html Article 3])

Two days after the article was published, my friend left a voice message with tears of gratitude on my answering machine. She said she had a terrible day and was called into question the value their work. She said that my honor was the most thoughtful gift I ever received from a nursery school, parents and the weather was perfect. Soon he was crying. My gift had done a good job. I gave him the most meaningful gift I could give - my sincere words. And it cost me cent.

You do not need to be a writer to give the gift of words. In fact, all that must be you. Speak with your heart, be authentic, creative and good, and your donation is intended to be the highlight of the day the recipient.

Here are some ideas to get started:

  1. Write a poem. Who said poems are in rhyme? Maybe you're a poet, and I do not know. Try your hand at a limerick (a humorous poem of light) or haiku (Japanese lyric poem with 3 lines and 17 syllables) to start. Search online for the way you love poetry for more information. Or just write a poem of his own free form, print it on paper rather put in a frame and a wrap.
  2. Write a comment. Does the gift recipient to provide a business service or product you love? Write a sincere testimony explaining why the product or service is the best person. Business owners will be happy to publish your testimonial on your website or in your office.
  3. Devoting an entry in my blog to someone. The people love to acknowledge publicly. What better way to show the world that you care to publish their thoughts on your blog? You do not have a blog yet? No issue. There are many blogging services out there that are free or low cost. Do a search of free services from Google Blog.
  4. Do card. This is one of my favorites. My parents still have homemade cards that I created thirty years ago. People love homemade cards. You not need to be an artist. Use pieces of fabric, sequins, old pieces of wrapping paper, photographs, finger paints, crayons Color ... anything goes!
  5. Write an article. Write an article for a website article online as EzineArticles.com or print publications Local. Highlight an important issue and business need in the article and support your assertions with specific stories about the person who Article will focus.
  6. Write a song or an album that talks about their feelings on a tape or CD. Not a musician? That's good. Take a popular song, like Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and add your own words. Present for the song to your lucky recipient. One of the sweetest gift ever the first time they started dating my ex-husband, as a tape (OK, I know I'm showing my age here) describing the history of his life and feelings for me.
  7. Create a website. You should not be a millionaire technogeek or create a site with many tools on the market. Add your own photos and words voila, an instant gift! Here's a gift he gave me one Christmas. I created a support system Online outline the chronology of the romantic relationship. It includes an index, table of contents, then click on the time scale on the sections that appear companies with photos of special moments. (Lo Sorry, I can not help it, I was a technogeek in love.)

The wish list is endless speech. Can you think of more? I know.

The best gift of speech is that it works on the law of attraction. In short, this means that thoughts and words which enters the world are what you earn. Think and write the action, reflected positive and I promise you that you have ways you never imagined. In expressing their love and recognition of written words to capture your feelings. The recipient can read your words and experience his love again and again.

Make the gift of words.
