I found the custom of Austria picturesque St. Nicholas day, walking the streets of Salzburg, Austria for years. I have seen Saint-Nicolas dressed in white robes carrying a cane and a hat to bishop. He had a white beard and soft, and was followed around by a fear of seeming creature called Krampus or demon carrying a wooden stick.
Each year in December fifth, the eve of St. Nicolas, children in Austria to their shoes on the windowsill or outside their bedroom doors. They hope to find their shoes filled with items such as oranges, apples, nuts, candy and small toys when they wake up next morning. In other words, they were good.
San Nicolás march in the streets and sometimes stop to visit the children at home or shopping the occupied city. It comes with a figure of the devil called Krampus. The Krampus is often chains, and often dressed in leather with a scary mask and a long red tongue. He carries a wooden stick or switch to encourage children to misbehave change their habits. Of course, Saint-Nicolas, the Krampus will not let anyone hurt and once the promise of children to be good rewards from Saint-Nicolas with treatment.
It is a peculiar custom may be added to its conclusion Christmas. On December 5, have their children at one his shoes under the Christmas tree or the front door. You could even say it's the ghost of Saint-Nicolas (which his family paid a visit) if you want change this habit, just a little and explain that to test and see if they are still good. Fill your shoe with a treatment or a variety Candy (who may European chocolates), an ornament or a small toy. Be creative and not have to be really expensive or large. Just something simple and fun to invite the spirit of Christmas.
Before concluding this habit or add to your holiday, share a little about the country of Austria and explain this custom in his family. You can find a book on Austria or search online resource that shows many images of this beautiful country. You may also have his family gather around the piano or guitar and sing "Silent Night". The famous Christmas song composed by two Austrians and tell them the story behind the writing of this song.

I do not know the day of St. Valentine, but ...?
I need to know what I should write on the card im sending someone like me. Weve come before - but we parted. I still love him, a year later - what should I write on the card? Somewhere in the letter i want to say "Be my Valentine?" Is it okay for a girl to ask a man to be your Valentine? BTW I saw the bear cute so I bought it. Riminded I need to buy this type somthing. Seeing the bear, which is nice. Keep a time before giving him too. Maybe even sleep with her. Let him see you. This way you'll know it means more than that too.
