Cheesy Valentine Day Lines

Do you feel like singlehood is a curse already? If you really need tips on how to get a girlfriend, here they are, before Valentine's day rolls past and love still eludes you.

Be visible.

A good way to find a girl would definitely be to make the rounds. You can't possibly expect to get yourself a girl if you persist in being locked up in your room, stuck with just fantasizing about having a girlfriend. Go out and meet people. Let friends set you up on dates.

If you're uncomfortable with the idea of meeting a new person, perhaps you could double date. Having someone you know with you for support can lighten up the unease and allow you feel more confident and at ease.

Take it slow.

Don't be in a rush to get into a relationship. Don't give your girl friend an impression you're psycho by calling and emailing nonstop. Ask whether it would be alright to call her.

Let things flow in a relaxed way. Instead of a full-course dinner, just take her out for coffee. A casual setting such as a cafe will give her time to let her hair down and get to know you more. If things turn out the way you wanted, then you just may ask her out again.

Be sincere.

Flattery will get you nowhere‚ unless you really mean it. Avoid spewing cheesy lines you've obviously culled from Jerry Maguire. This will only make you appear like you're trying too hard to be suave.

Treat her the way you'd want other guys to treat your sister, your mother or any woman you care about. If she turns down your invitations, do not force getting her to go out with you. There will always be other opportunities to meet other girls. Who knows, she might even change her mind and call you back.

Be creative and original.

Flowers and chocolates are sweet gifts; but you have to admit, they are quite boring and generic. Give her something out of the ordinary, something that's really to her taste, something that tells her you've taken the trouble to pick it out. You may have to do a bit of research and enlist the assistance of her friends to discover what she would really appreciate. They will be more than happy to assist you. Not only will this endear you to her, but it will get you the all-important nod of approval from her friends as well.

Listen.

Don't be a jerk and engage her in a monologue. A meaningful conversation is a two-way street. Make eye contact when she is talking. Give her your rapt attention. Give her your undivided attention and make her feel like she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

Be consistent.

So she finally agreed to be your girlfriend. This is no excuse for you to slack and simply stop trying to woo her. That stage is never over, even after you've won her over. Fill your life together with surprises, so she will keep guessing and there will never be a dull moment in your relationship.

Research and Learn More.

Though this might be an emotional endeavor, treat it like a business deal or an academic project: research and continue to innovate and arm yourself with new knowledge and learnings on relationships. These will really help you progress in and handle your romantic relationships.

I thought even though its past valentines i could send her an anonymous rose, give her some time to go crazy trying to find it out then tell her.

Firstly, no cheesy lines. Please. It does work on some but not all!

Secondly, it's really sweet of you to send her a rose, how about a teddy bear or with a note?

Thirdly, why do you want to send her an anonymous rose? Just write down your name in the card. I'm sure, if she likes you, she'll reciprocate in a way or two.

Hmmm, I would suggest you to ask her to study together, walk her home or to another class... shower her with small gifts - do not pamper her that much but rather, to show that u care...

You may also invite her to any places - prom? birthday party? Or even bake her cookies... buy or make sandwich for her...

I would want a guy who tells me directly and tactfully that he likes me, rather than someone who send me anonymous gifts.
